Mothers Day Card

Hi, here is my Mother-in-law's Mother's day card. I used a window card and put some gingham paper behind it (I just adore gingham). Used a Memory box small window box die, added some flowers and Memory box grassland die to make the green grass behind the flowers. I stamped and embossed the sentiments. Added the little butterfly as it looked a bit bland, what do you think?

Have a very busy long weekend ahead as going to visit my mum and dad and family in North London. Travelling up early Friday morning and coming back late Monday night, have lots planned, Just cannot wait to see my family. I love living in Cornwall, but miss my family as they are 280 miles away, but I love it when we all get together and because we live by the sea get lots of family visiting. So my husband has come up with a good idea to get a big mobile home and put it in our back garden. (its ok have quite a big back garden) and we won't be able to see if from the house as it will be behind the trees. Then we can split it in half so when family and friends come to stay then they have somewhere to stay and the other half can be my new craft room. Hooray a very big room for me, but now he wants to clad all the front, so it looks like a log cabin (he get carried away sometimes). Can't wait!

Mothers Day Card

Hi, here is my mum's mothers day card I have been working on. I used a doilie for the back ground and used some little tags, next I used some letter stickers I had left, then added  some lace at the bottom that I had threaded ribbon though and added yet again some buttons. In England we have mothers day on the 10th of March. It's a day that my girls spoil me so I can't wait for that. Just have to make a card for my mother in law next.

My Scraps

Tracy, (tracystreasures-tracy.) you have inspired me to arrange my scrap. I had them in a big draw that was full, and every time I wanted a patterned paper it took forever so would just start on a new one.

So when I finish using my washing tablets the other day, I thought 'I can reuse this some how', so I added some heart paper to the front and back, added some flowers, used some stickles on them and finally added a magnolia image. And it also make my papers smell lovely. So, thank you, Tracy.

My Hubby's Valentine's Card

Hi this card is for my Hubby for Valentine's day, I used a wooden tree and stuck loads of tiny hearts on. It was a good idea but halfway though I was cursing as the hearts were getting stuck everywhere! I then added some tiny leaves onto that. I used dies for a garden fence and used grass and added flower to it. This was a very fiddly job but I do like the way it turned out. Lets hope he likes it.

My Craft Room

Thought I would share with you my craft haven:

It starting out a just a plain boring shed but with my husband Shane very clever hands, it has turned out to be my sanctuary.

It may be small but I pack a lot in

I place my dies on the roof with magnet sheets, Shane's idea again

It has all the mod cons, it has heating, lights and even a kettle!

I am so lucky to have a  talented husband who made me this craft room. We live in a house in not--so-sunny Cornwall and with no more free rooms  in the house, we decided to do a room outside, and this is it. It's nice as it looks out into the garden and I am often looking out watching the birds than crafting. I would like to say a big thank you to my husband for his hard work! and letting me craft to all hours.

Skittles

Made this Skittles wreath  for my daughter Megan she is crazy about skittles, I used florist oasis for the base used pink ribbon wrapped around then used a heat gun and 3 packets of skittles used button ribbon so she can hang it. Just hope she will not run out of skittles soon and try to eat them.

Valentines Day Cards

I made 2 cards for my daughters for Valentines day, as at present they don't have a boyfriend and didn't want them to not receive anything (silly me) so very similar to my Nieces card used yet another jar stamp (sorry) but this time used Quickutz love hearts die one of my favourites. lets hope they will be pleased with my results.

Mad About Jars

I am mad about jars lately here is another card I made for my Niece as you can see yet another jar.

I really like the way this card turned out, maybe a bit too much on one card, but I got carried away. I used Spellbinders Lacey Circles, added some ribbon and a button (have a thing about buttons, me and my daughter Megan are mad about them and I call her my little button girl) Sorry, back to the card. I used Quickutz jelly beans die and a Marianne ribbon threader. Lets hope my niece, Keilly loves this card as I do.

Anniversary Card

Hi, this is an anniversary card I have made for my in-laws whose anniversary is on valentines day, what a lovely day to get married on. I used a heart doily, put onto some embossed paper then I used a little envelope, stamped a jar. I then added some hearts, used glossy accents over the top, added some beads onto the string (my new thing), added some ribbon behind and used some flowers from my stash with a few red leaves. Then I placed the tag inside.

Lets hope that they both have a great Anniversary!

New baby card

Hi, this is a card I made for a friend who had a baby boy named Leo on Wednesday I use a tag which I stamped on then used a Sizzix baby die and placed him on foam dots using Quickutz baby die for the wording. Can't wait for a cuddle with baby Leo.
