Heart button canvas

Here is my latest creation.'
I had some old canvass in my bathroom that had seen better days, so was throwing them out. Then I had a brainwave, so decided to revamp them. So I painted one grey and, as my bathroom has an orange and white theme, I decidef to add a button heart. I just hot glued them in place. The other canvas I have planned to use my prima doll stamps. I'll be sure to show you all the end result.

Hope you have a nice weekend and happy crafting!

Easter basket

Look what I made for my girls for Easter.
I made one for both my girls and they were both very happy with it. I just got a new basket with a liner. And placed a gift and some Easter goodies inside.

Happy Easter!

New arrival

My nephew and niece had a new arrival on Friday. Harley was born weighing 9lb 6, the heavyweight. So I was busy buying baby clothes (I just love that), so I made them this card.
I used my Marianne design dies. I love them, they're so cute, and I love the way you get the stamps and dies in the set. I coloured the baby image using my new water soluble wax pastels I found at Hobby Craft, and I must say I am in love with them
I am going to play with them some more on my Prima Doll stamps soon.
Happy crafting :)

Tim Holtz April's tag

This is my take on Tim's tag this month As usual I do not have all the supplies he has to hand, so we all have to make do with what we have. Most months I treat myself to what he uses in the tag, but, with just coming back off our holiday, and spending far too much in Disney, I had to make do. Overall I think I did a good job.

I used the Sizzix Moroccan card front die, I tried to cut the Grungeboard with it, but it wasn't working out, so just used some thin chipboard with distress inks on it. I used the die to cut out the mirror, which was a very thin sheet mirror-card, I had some glitter card, including that too. The cork would have been too thick to used with this thin die. I stamped the background as did not have his tissue tape. I also used my Martha Stewart pine punch, and the Stampin' Up flower die my friend had. So having her cut a few for me, this allowed me to play around with it. I added the little owl charm at the bottom, as I though he was cute. I really love how it turned out.
