Letter holder

I have not done some crating in a while. We have had some beautiful weather so we have been reinventing our back garden so most of my time has been on that. But I now need some crafting to bring me back to life, lol
My neighbour give me this letter holder as she did not want it anymore, it was a plain cream colour, so I had to change that. I have been collecting used postage stamps for a while just to use in my crafting, so thought it would looks nice down the side. I attached them with pva glue and then sealed them. I used decoupage paper on the front and used some on the inside which says 'I love you' (So cute). Finally added some flower lace to give it a bit of dimension.
And here it is in use, I think it looks so pretty. 
I fell a bit more human now I have done some crafting.

    I love the paper you used for your letter holder, so cute :)
    Using postage stamps is so creative of you, too.
    Crafting does make you feel a little more human, lol..I guess you could say it's MY therapy!

    There is just something about creating that perks us up isn't there :)
    Your altered letter holder turned out lovely.
    I like that you used your stamp collection for the sides, it was the perfect project to use them on.
    Looks great on the wall :)
