Tickets

I have been playing around with my Tim Holtz ticket die over the weekend. And I totally had a blast!
I have not used this in a long time, and it is a shame because you can get so many different results.
From adding embellishments.
To owls
To cute
To birds
To vintage
To my favourite puppies.
See I told you I was having fun.
I am going to use some on cards, my smash books and scrapbooks.
Why don't you use something you have had a long time.

Craft Club

On a Thursday evening, I got to a craft club, hosted by my friend, Kathy. She is a Stampin' Up demonstrator. This is Thursday's project. I can't help that I love Stampin' Up products.

Painting chipboard photo frames, we added Designer series paper and Secret Garden stamps and framelits over the photo slot, covering it. At present, I am decorating my daughter's bedrooms. My youngest, Megan, is painting her walls in pastel colours, so this will be perfect on her room. She loves colour! We also made a matching bookmark, card and envelope. We were so busy, two hours of pure crafting (plus tea and cake). It's nice to go out and craft with like-minded people.

Postcard mini

Made this postcard mini, I saw it in a free flyer from a magazine and thought it looked cute.I already had the stamps suggested for this project so I just cut some tags out and just went along with it.

Don't know what to use it for just yet, I have a box full of photos so it won't be long before it is full!

Valentines treats

Hi I have been making my daughter a few valentines treats.

I got some jelly teddy bears and placed them in a bag with a tag, A Bear hug on valentines, a little pocket with a lolly pop in and also I decorated a little plastic tub with some hearts and a bow. I added some heart sweets and chocolate.

My eldest daughter does not have a boyfriend so did not want her to feel left out on the love.

Happy crafting :)

Valentines Card

Here is my husband Valentine's card,
I used Stampin' Up embossing folder, Sizzix postage heart die,
and some heart ribbon. I just cut out extra hearts and changed the details on the
front on them all, and placed some Dimensional's on the back to pop them up. I am loving the ribbon I used, it has wire running thought the edge and just stays in place. Roll on Friday!

Tim Holtz February Tag

Hi, I finished February tag from Tim Holtz. I just love hearts I have loads of heart items dotted around my house. I was so excited about this tag but I didn't have the stencils I wanted, having to order them before I could start it, I also didn't have the stamp he used but I used some of his older ones. Another thing I didn't like or have was the strip along the bottom, so added a little bit of vintage flower lace instead to make it a bit more girly. Either way I am very happy with the way it turned out. I have never tried the chalk technique but I think I like it.

My Smash Book

This is my take on a smash book.
It is not the way it should be done but I love doing it. It is like a smash book come mini album come scrapbook, I find it suits me better. I have a few photo albums on the go, with family days out on one, one with odd days and now, this one of me and my husband's 22nd wedding anniversary last year (Yes, I am late doing this). We went away for the weekend to a little fishing village in Cornwall called Mousehole, it's a stunning place and we had a great time. Doing this album brings back all the good memories. Hopefully it will not take me to this years anniversary to finish it.
Just a few example pages and a lot more to go but I'm having so much fun making it.

Valentine's Treat Bag

Here is my treat bag for my husband for Valentine's Day.

Inside are three bottles of beer - hence the pun - a DVD, some of his favourite sweets and chocolate. All it took was a plain gift bag, stuck on tissue paper hearts, and a Tim Holtz cherub die. To make it look fuller, I stuffed it with crinkle tissue paper and heart confetti.

I must admit that I am quite proud of myself, for it's two weeks until Valentine's and I've made his present already! I wonder how long I can keep this streak up for! I just hope he likes it.
